Biotic factors: Biotic factors include living organisms such as rodents, birds, insects and microorganisms which damage stored food grains. Food also gets spoilt by the action of the enzymes present in them.
1. Some soil organisms like bacteria, fungi, earthworm, rodents and termite cause disease. Some aid the aeration of soil, percolation and fertility.Some open up wounds on plants or animals for other pathogen to enter, also reduce the quality and quantity of crop.
